We run a variety of different workshops that take from 50minutes (designed to fit in to a single school period) to all day and incorporate a range of Earth Science topics and themes from Climate Change to Mars. For more information about what we offer, please explore the different pages below and if you have any questions or queries don’t hesitate to get in touch!
Please note that with advanced notice, all visits can be adapted to suit a wide range of additional support needs
Single period workshops last 50 minutes and can be run with up to 30 students.
Workshops can be adapted so that they are suitable for different secondary school stages and can be linked together to provide a half day or full day session if required.
Double period workshops take two 50 minute periods to run.
If your school periods are shorter than this please contact us to discuss options for booking as some of the timings can be flexible.
Discovery Events are half day (4 periods) or full day sessions.
These challenges are group activities. Up to 100 students can be accommodated, depending on available space & supervising staff – see individual challenges for requirements and timing.
Our field season runs from Easter to October half term.
Field excursions are run over a full day and students will have the opportunity to see what real scientists get up to “in the field” and practise a range of data gathering methods.
