Secondary Workshops

We run a variety of different workshops for secondary schools, delivered in 50 or 100 minutes (designed to fit into a single or double school period).

Our workshops incorporate a range of Earth science topics and themes from Climate Change to Coring Through Time.

Primary Workshops

Radical Rocks handling collection - granite and conglomerate

We run a variety of different Earth and environmental science themed workshops for primary school pupils, from Magnificent Maps to Dodging Disaster – Hazard Management & Volcanoes.

Fieldwork Sessions

Gathering data on biotic and abiotic factors along a transect

We run a variety of fieldwork sessions for secondary schools students.

Students will have the opportunity to see what real scientists get up to in the field and try out a range of data gathering techniques or field skills, as well as receiving support for investigations in geography, environmental science and biology.
