Join GeoBus for a fantastic day of CLPL for secondary geography teachers.

Try out different equipment and techniques for data gathering, processing, interpreting, and analysing.  Discover what to look for when choosing a field site to use with your students, as well as practical options for what to measure and examine during your field trip.

In the morning, we’ll visit a nearby river to discuss practicalities of fieldwork and how to set up an investigation, as well as to test equipment in the field.  The river field site is within walking distance of the Bute Building.  After lunch we will set up equipment to generate and interpret a hydrograph.

After the course, teachers will have access to the digital resources used in this course and will have the opportunity to borrow some equipment to use with their students.
